Weighs less than 6 oz. without computer. Just plug the PCMCIA card into the PCMCIA Type II slot and start testing.

Standard Features

Easy to use

Pass/refer criteria

Test newborns to adults

Screen students for hearing loss

Research

Use for difficult to evaluate individuals:

Language disorders

Alzheimer's patients

Functional hearing loss

Behavioral disorders

Mentally challenged

Special Features

* Ideal for hearing screening or research application.

* Two clicks of the mouse or two hits on the keyboard you can observe a DP-GRAM and determine if the patient requires further evaluation.

* In the ear transfer function lets the examiner know if the probe is in the ear canal properly thus reducing the number of false readings.

* Now with ARTIFACT REJECTION to further reduce the time necessary to obtain a DP-GRAM.

Important Info

* The Starkey DP 2000 and 2001 are windows-based Otoacoustic Emission Systems that have been designed specially for the clinician or the researcher.

* Neither of the two systems have no large external boxes to carry around. The Digital Signal Processing occurs on a PCMCIA card that fits neatly into a computer. With our user-defined test protocols, the examiner can measure various Distortion Product points (besides 2 fl-f2) and a wider range of test points (500-16000hz).
